GEN 126 Pest Control
Last Updated: [5/17/2026]

At GEN 126 Pest Control, we believe in honest, straightforward service. Our goal is to provide clear pricing, professional service, and fair resolutions when concerns come up.

Because pest control, mosquito control, rodent service, wildlife service, trapping, exclusion, sanitation, and repair-related services involve labor, travel, materials, scheduling, and property-specific conditions, refunds are limited once work has been scheduled, started, or completed.

Completed Services

One-time services are generally non-refundable after the service has been completed, unless otherwise stated in writing.

This may include:

  • Pest treatments

  • Mosquito treatments

  • Ant treatments

  • Rodent service visits

  • Wildlife inspections or trapping

  • Bird inspections

  • Vent cleanup and sanitation

  • Exclusion, sealing, or repair work

  • Custom service work

If a customer is not satisfied, GEN 126 Pest Control may review the concern and, when appropriate, offer a callback, retreatment, credit, adjustment, or another reasonable solution.

Inspections and Service Calls

Inspection fees and service call fees are non-refundable once the appointment has been dispatched, started, or completed.

Inspection and service call fees cover technician time, travel, professional evaluation, property review, and recommendations.

Promotional Services

Promotional services, including the $25 Introductory Mosquito Spray Promo, are discounted introductory services and are non-refundable once completed.

Promotional offers may be limited by availability, service area, property size, first-time customer eligibility, and other written offer details.

Seasonal Packages and Multi-Visit Services

Seasonal packages and multi-visit services are priced as full service plans. These plans may include scheduling priority, repeated visits, product use, monitoring, customer support, and service availability.

Once a seasonal package or multi-visit program has started, refunds are not guaranteed and are reviewed case by case.

If a refund, credit, or adjustment is approved, GEN 126 Pest Control may deduct:

  • Completed visits

  • Inspection time

  • Labor already performed

  • Materials used

  • Route and scheduling costs

  • Discounts already applied

  • Payment processing costs

  • Custom ordered or reserved materials

Unused visits do not automatically convert into cash refunds.

Rodent and Mouse Services

Rodent and mouse services are based on inspection, baiting, trapping, monitoring, action planning, and property conditions.

Completed rodent visits are non-refundable.

If a rodent package includes minor entry sealing, repair allowance, or materials allowance, that allowance is part of the service plan. It is not a cash credit and is not refundable if unused, not needed, unsafe to perform, inaccessible, or outside the agreed scope.

GEN 126 Pest Control does not guarantee permanent elimination of rodent activity unless a written guarantee is specifically included in the customer’s service agreement.

Wildlife and Trapping Services

Wildlife trapping services are charged for technician time, trap setup, monitoring, routing, compliance, service availability, and the trapping period itself.

Trapping fees are not based only on whether an animal is caught.

If no animal is captured during the trapping period, completed trapping days are still non-refundable.

Additional trapping periods, exclusions, cleanups, repairs, sanitation, and special handling are priced separately unless otherwise stated in writing.

Bird, Vent, and Active Nest Services

Bird inspections, prevention, deterrent services, vent cleanup, and sanitation services are non-refundable once completed.

Active nest charges, defensive parent charges, sanitation charges, and vent cleanup charges are non-refundable once the service has been performed.

Some bird situations may involve protected species, permit requirements, safety limits, or legal restrictions. When needed, GEN 126 Pest Control may modify, delay, or decline service to comply with applicable law and professional judgment.

Deposits, Materials, and Custom Work

Deposits may be required for certain jobs, including exclusion work, repairs, sanitation, wildlife work, custom materials, large jobs, or scheduled labor.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits may be non-refundable once GEN 126 Pest Control has incurred costs, reserved labor, ordered materials, scheduled route time, performed inspection work, or begun preparing for the job.

Custom ordered materials, special equipment, reserved labor, and completed preparation work may be deducted from any approved refund.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Customers should contact GEN 126 Pest Control as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellation does not automatically waive:

  • Completed service charges

  • Inspection fees

  • Deposits

  • Material costs

  • Scheduled labor costs already incurred

  • Outstanding invoices

  • Missed appointment fees

  • Route disruption costs

GEN 126 Pest Control may charge reasonable cancellation, missed appointment, route disruption, or material fees when appointments are missed, repeatedly rescheduled, canceled without reasonable notice, or when work has already been scheduled or prepared.

Recurring Services and Automatic Billing

Customers enrolled in recurring services or automatic billing are responsible for keeping valid payment information on file.

Canceling future service does not refund completed services or remove outstanding balances.

Failed, declined, reversed, disputed, or charged-back payments may result in service delays, suspension of service, cancellation of warranty coverage, cancellation of future service, additional charges, late fees, or denial of future service.

Guarantees, Callbacks, and Retreatment

Any warranty, callback, retreatment, monitoring period, or service guarantee applies only when it is specifically stated in writing.

GEN 126 Pest Control does not guarantee:

  • Immediate results

  • Permanent pest elimination

  • Complete removal of all pest activity

  • Permanent exclusion unless stated in writing

  • Wildlife capture

  • Results affected by sanitation, neighboring properties, weather, standing water, structural issues, customer noncompliance, or new pest pressure

When a callback or retreatment is included in writing, that callback or retreatment is the customer’s remedy unless GEN 126 Pest Control agrees otherwise in writing.

Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted to GEN 126 Pest Control with the customer’s name, service address, service date, reason for the request, and any supporting photos or details.

GEN 126 Pest Control will review refund requests in good faith. Refunds, credits, discounts, callbacks, or adjustments are provided at the discretion of GEN 126 Pest Control unless otherwise required by law or stated in a written agreement.

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.

Consumer Rights and Right to Cancel

GEN 126 Pest Control respects applicable consumer protection laws, including federal, state, county, and municipal cancellation and disclosure requirements.

For certain sales made at a customer’s home or another location outside GEN 126 Pest Control’s regular place of business, customers may have a legal right to cancel within three business days. The Federal Trade Commission’s Cooling-Off Rule applies to certain door-to-door sales valued above $25 and requires sellers to provide notice of the customer’s cancellation rights.

For certain Illinois home repair or remodeling work, including some exclusion, sealing, repair, vent, or property-protection work, customers may have additional rights under Illinois consumer protection rules. The Illinois Attorney General states that contractors should present the Home Repair Consumer Rights document for work valued at $1,000 or more. The Illinois Attorney General also states that customers generally have three business days to cancel a contract made and signed at their home, and seniors over age 65 may have up to 15 business days to cancel a contract made and signed at their home.

When a legal cancellation right applies, GEN 126 Pest Control will honor that right. A customer’s legal cancellation rights cannot be waived, removed, or reduced by this Refund Policy, the Terms and Conditions, or any service agreement.

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit, remove, or misrepresent any rights a customer may have under federal, Illinois, county, or municipal law. If this Refund Policy conflicts with a legally required consumer right, the legally required consumer right will control.
